Wineries & Olive Groves
Vineyards and olive estates across Greece, for a wedding rooted in the land.
Some wedding venues could belong nowhere but Greece.
Vineyards shaped by volcanic soil, centuries-old olive trees, stone terraces and landscapes cultivated for generations bring an unmistakable sense of place to a celebration. A winery wedding in Santorini, framed by extraordinary sunset views, or a dinner beneath the olive trees in the olive-growing landscapes of Crete needs little embellishment, because the setting itself becomes part of the design.
These are venues for couples drawn to authenticity, heritage and celebrations that feel connected to the land around them, where Greek wine, seasonal food and alfresco dining under the stars become as memorable as the view itself.
Best Winery & Olive Grove Wedding Venues in Greece
Vines and olives have been grown on this land for thousands of years, and a wedding among them borrows all of that history without trying. These are estates where the table is set outdoors, the food grows a few steps away and the setting needs very little help from anyone.
Wedding Wineries & Olive Groves in Crete
Crete is covered in olive trees, some of them older than the island’s oldest churches. A wedding on a Cretan farm means long tables between the trunks, raki before dinner and a menu built on what the estate grows itself. Katie and Eric married exactly this way at Agreco, among the vines and the olives. More in our Crete wedding guide.
Agreco Farm
Agreco sits on a hilltop in Crete with wide views over the surrounding countryside, a working farm where the island’s seasons still set the calendar, from sheep shearing and cheese making to the grape harvest and raki dripping warm from the still. Guests can tour the farm, tread grapes or taste the estate’s wine and olive oil before sitting down to a Cretan feast, whether that is mezedes and raki, a set dinner or a full gala. The terraces seat up to 200 outdoors, with room for 60 in the farm’s taverna if the evening moves inside.
Winery & Olive Grove Wedding Venues in Athens
Attica has been growing vines and olives since antiquity, and just beyond the city the countryside still feels farmed, with vineyards and groves between the villages. That makes it possible to marry on a working farm, sit down to a garden-to-table dinner and still have every guest back at an Athens hotel by midnight.
Margi Farm
The Margi Farm sits in Saronikos, in the Attica countryside south of Athens, a short drive from the coast of the Athens Riviera, and lets a wedding move through three settings without ever leaving the land. The ceremony can take place among the olive trees at the far end of the farm, dinner can be served in The Glasshouse, light and airy by day and candlelit at night, and smaller gatherings can share The Family Table, a long monastery table under a pergola with an open-fire kitchen beside it. The menus are created by Michelin-starred chef Panagiotis Giakalis from vegetables picked a few steps away, and the couple can spend the night in the farm’s cottage and wake to eggs from the farm’s own hens.
Winery & Olive Grove Wedding Venues in Paros
Paros is quietly one of the wine islands of the Cyclades, with vineyards in its interior and farms that open their doors to celebrations. A farm wedding here offers something rare on an island, fields, stone walls and real quiet, while the beaches and harbour of Naousa are a short drive away. See our Paros page.
Petra Farm – Estate
Petra Estate stands high above the bay of Kolymbithres on Paros, looking across the water to the fishing village of Naousa, with olive groves and a working vineyard all around it. Bougainvillea spills over Parian marble, stone steps lead down between old olive trees, and amphorae of olive oil and wine-stained barrels still sit in the cellars, so the wedding feels part of a real farm rather than a set. In the evening the light catches the white houses across the bay just as the ceremony begins.
