Greek Island Baptism

Probably the most important moment in a religious person’s life. The moment a child is being immersed in blessed water and baptised a new Christian. A stenuous day for most children yet a truly sacred time for every family. We are extra sensitive when it comes to helping parents oranise their child’s celebration. and at the same time we are honoured and excited to be a part of it.

It is with great reverence and joy that we share with you the baptism of a very special baby girl, born, raised and therefore baptised on the island of Santorini, fittingly given the name Thalassini, which in Greek literaly translates to: “of the sea”.

As you can imagine, deciding on a theme for this celebration was not very hard. We went with navy blue, light blue and white, locally grown herbs and a play with the Greek alphabet to honour the name giving to the child.
